Earlier this year Mercedes-Benz announced the 45th anniversary edition of the SL 65 AMG and now they have prepared a similar version of the SLS AMG GT3. Wearing an exclusive matt paintwork, this special model rides on AMG light alloys in designo magno graphite.
What’s more important is that carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) is used for the doors, boot lid, hood, mudguards, front/rear apron, rear wings, rear diffuser and front splitter. Moving on the inside, we find the steel roll-over cage that has the same finish as the exterior, while the center console and the dashboard feature a similar matt carbon fiber appearance.
Under the hood it’s the same AMG V8 6.3-liter engine that enables the race car to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
